Description:

Ghandruk village is the most beautiful and popular village for short trek that can be done from Pokhara. It sits at an altitude of 2012m above the sea level and is inhabited by Gurungs, one of the ethnic group of Nepal preserving their own religion and culture. The village offers the spectacular close view of Annapurna and the view during sunset and sunrise is fantastic. The trekking also offers the scenic foothills along with charming villagers. The Mountain View is very beautiful and the trail is relatively easy.

The trail passes through Rhododendron forest and fascinating traditional Gurung villages where one can have a nice opportunity to witness the culture and tradition of Nepalese countryside. All of these make this trek an ideal choice for everyone looking for short trek in Annapurna foot hills.
